The purpose of the Carroll County Public Schools Education Foundation is to sustain and extend excellence and student achievement in the Carroll County Public Schools. The Foundation encourages community financial support for educational initiatives that are not funded in the budget, works to improve volunteer opportunities, establishes and expands school-business partnerships, and assists the school system in achieving its goals.
The Foundation hopes to encourage new, exciting ideas and educational initiatives for our school system. We are focusing on the following areas:
- Teacher grants that would impact students in a positive way
- Alternative programs that give additional assistant to students that is outside the mandated curriculum such as after school academic programs
- Technology not currently funded that would make it possible for the school system to enhance opportunities for all students
- Enrichment activities that promote social skills, self-confidence and positive character
- Scholarships for middle school students who qualify to attend college upon graduation from high school to encourage rigor in their high school program.
